There's Been a Long Time . . .

. . . between adoptions of new furries into my hug of late. Mainly because I have become somewhat disillusioned by what has been recently available to collectors . . . there are so many so called "One of a Kinds" that are really just "One of the Many" reproduced from the same old pattern, just in different fabric or colour.

However, I am pleased to say there is at least one artist who I can count on to constantly push the boundaries of her imagination and come up with some fabulous original pieces to tempt me. The most recent piece she produced, I just couldn't resist . . . the whole set has been distressed to look old and I think it's just gorgeous.

This is Fleur and the attention that the artist, Thea de Bruin of Milly Me in the Netherlands, instills in her work is simply amazing. Every minute detail is executed with love and perfection . . . not only in the piece itself, but in the presentation of her pieces to her collectors through her newsletters, blog and website.

I have adopted pieces from many different artists from around the world and I have to say, Thea's work is exemplary and without doubt, the best I have ever seen and own.
