Don't you get fed up with the crap some sales people dish out?
We ordered a recliner lift chair from HOUSE OF RECLINERS (the place with "Alan the singing salesman") on the 16th August and we were told it would take 12 weeks as it was coming from China.
At 12 weeks, after phoning them to find out which day it was to be delivered, we were told there had been a delay in shipping and it would arrive at the end of November.
These people don't have the faintest idea of what CUSTOMER SERVICE is, otherwise they would be phoning us to let us know what is going on, it's not as if it was a $5 purchase.
Can you tell I am really pissed off? It's not so much the length of time (although it would have been nice to have been told that this was a possibility in the first place), it's the bulls**t that they sprout that makes me angry.
If I hadn't given them such a large deposit I would have told them where to stick the ruddy chair! Should you ever need to buy a recliner, I would suggest you give HOUSE OF RECLINERS a wide berth!!!

Hmmm what ever happened to customer service...?? The customer is always right....???!!!! I have heard of so many instances of Aussies being treated like shit from companies who are quite willing to take our money and so quick to blame others for their errors. We all need to learn to ark up about poor treatment.

Do you want me to ark up. Well I can but perhaps shouldn't here. I am having trouble with blinds that a well known fabric store came and measured and then came to fit. (TOOOOOO BIIIIG) I had to pay in full or they wouldn't bring them out at all, and I would loose my deposit. Now I have Paid for them, have nothing on my window. So I live in a fish bowl, and this was 2 weeks ago. Still not altered, so I have no option but to wait.Grrrrr....

ReplyDeleteI just so hate when this happens. As you said, these people do not have a clue how to conduct a good business and customer service. I am so sorry you have to be aggravited with this and I hope it gets resolved promptly and your have your chair soon. It sure looks like a great chair and will be gorgeous in burgundy.
